Overall Role Purpose

Professionally support the recruitment function that enables DHL to continuously improve the quality of staff to meet its resourcing requirements for today and the future. To support the sourcing of candidates through innovative and cost effective means that strengthens DHL’s position as an employer of choice.


Key activities

Human Resources Planning

-Support the planning, review and forecast human resources requirements to recruit the required number of employees, with the required skills, at the required time.


Recruitment Policies and Procedures

-Comply with selection procedures to ensure appointments are carried out in a structured and systematic approach to meet HR policy, local legislation and managed in a cost effective way. Coordinate recruitment request form processes.


Managing New Employees

-Effectively manage the administrative requirements for new hires. To support transition arrangements for entry and ensure practice is competitive.


Reporting

-Assist and support the provision comprehensive reports to record cost of recruitment, source, cost of advertisements and retention periods of new hires.

-Support additional reporting as required by the Regional & Country HR.


Quality of Recruitment Practices:

-Use selection methodology for employees in assigned grades that enables DHL to test the candidate’s ability and match, such as structured interviews, behavioral based questions and psychometric tools to ensure a high quality of standard is achieved.

-Align with Line Manager: agree of recruitment specifications, framework and plan.


Vacancies Advertisements/Notices:

-Lodge and coordinate external/internal advertisements to target a suitable pool of candidates through appropriate channels, taking advantage of new technology where appropriate.

-Manage the application records and correspondence.




Proactive problem-solving

Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Communication skills, spoken and written

Team work spirit

1- 3 years relevant HR experience.
