Position: Finance Manager
Location: Midlands (Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Buckinghamshire)
Salary: Between £30,000- £40,0000 per annum + excellent DHL benefits
Contract Type: Permanent ( Full-Time)

As a Finance Manager you will be responsible for managing the running of a safe and efficient finance function working within clear guidelines to help achieve defined outcomes for the business and the customer.
Key Responsibilities in this role will include:
Provide financial and administration support and governance
Support solutions and follow processes to minimise financial risk and improve efficiency, profitability and cash flow
Ensure that changes to financial and process requirements are communicated and implemented promptly
Work with internal & external partners / customers to foster collaboration, networking & best practice
Support local business and the associated initiatives
Implement financial strategies, plans and targets to develop existing & new business
Ensure that robust financial solutions are implemented and monitored to optimise profit and minimise associated risk
Support the preparation of financial reports, models, budgets and forecast working with other stakeholders (e.g. operations, HR, IT, etc.) to ensure profit optimisation & risk mitigation
Manage improvement programmes to aid business efficiency and profitability
Ensure financial governance and ethical standards are maintained and communicated
Manage and develop financial expertise in the business enabling financial best practice
Manage financial (& business) reporting & forecasting to aid decision making and monitor progress
Actively manage, develop and motivate Finance team
Manage and support own & others career development and succession agenda
Key skills and experience in this role will include:
Relevant commercial and financial experience, ideally in the logistics industry
Qualified Accountant ICAEW or CIMA or ACCA or equivalent or part qualified and actively working to full qualification
Strong IT skills, ideally with experience using a variety of Finance systems
