On the cutting edge of advanced logistics thinking, the DHL Customer Solutions and Innovation unit develops innovative, supply chain solutions such as Resilience360 (resilience360.com).
Global supply chains are becoming increasingly complex and geographically spread. Natural disasters, adverse weather, political unrest, cargo theft – all of these events can cause disruption in the supply chain.
Resilience360 is an innovative, cloud-based platform that helps companies to visualize, track and protect their business operations. The solution facilitates intuitive supply chain visualization, tracks shipments and predicts their estimated times of delivery for different transport modes, and enables near real-time monitoring of incidents capable of disrupting supply chains. It enables companies to ensure business continuity, build risk profiles based on over 30 risk databases, and identify critical hotspots to mitigate risks and to turn potential disruptions into competitive advantages.
As a Resilience360 Inside Sales Representative, you will reach out proactively to businesses, while articulating how Resilience360 Solutions can help immediately assess, react to and mitigate risks to potential disruptions of supply chains. 
The Inside Sales & Support Role will assist the EMEA Business Development team in their tasks in growing DHL Resilience360 business. He/she will provide support in lead qualification, early stage sales cycles, proposal creation, customer solution design, opportunity reporting and other tasks to provide an effective contribution to the team’s effectiveness and overall success. 

Your tasks

  • Lead qualification: conference lead and digital lead follow ups for Business Development-Team to get the opportunity to do a demonstration, follow ups with digital leads.
  • Customer solution design: supporting Business Development in creating a compelling slide set to showcase the identified customer use cases and proactively suggest additional use cases.
  • Opportunity reporting: managing Resilience360’s Customer Relationship Management system by creating meaningful reports for the team on current pipeline status. Ensuring that current status is reported by the individual Business Development Managers.
  • Preparing presentations (internal reviews, customer tailored product presentations…)
  • Asssist with Events: Support conference organization and align with marketing on the necessary pre-conference tasks. Work with conference organizers on pre-conference alignments.  Collaborate with the sales team to be the first point of contact with a prospective customer to set up one on one exploratory or demonstration meetings
  • DHL as a channel Revenue Growth:  Train and develop sales opportunities within the DHL Group and close business when under 25K Euro Subscription and pass to the Outside Team when over 25K Euro Subscription annually
  • Conducting other general ad-hoc tasks

Your profile

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business, Sales or equivalent
  • BS/BA in related discipline and 2-5 years of experience working in a dynamic and international  commercial environment OR MS/MA and generally 1-3 years of experience in related
  • Experienced usage of Office tools (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com is a plus
  • Sales Affinity
  • Good interpersonal skills and positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and interactive way as well as independently
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in another European language (German, Spanish, French) is a plus
