On the cutting edge of advanced logistics thinking, the DHL Customer Solutions and Innovation unit develops innovative, supply chain solutions such as Resilience360 (resilience360.com). Global supply chains are becoming increasingly complex and geographically spread. Natural disasters, adverse weather, political unrest, cargo theft – all of these events can cause disruption in the supply chain.
Resilience360 is an innovative, cloud-based platform that helps companies to visualize, track and protect their business operations. The solution facilitates intuitive supply chain visualization, tracks shipments and predicts their estimated times of delivery for different transport modes, and enables near real-time monitoring of incidents capable of disrupting supply chains. It enables companies to ensure business continuity, build risk profiles based on over 30 risk databases, and identify critical hotspots to mitigate risks and to turn potential disruptions into competitive advantages.
We are looking for a Head of Marketing who will be responsible for the Marketing strategy for Resilience360. This includes shaping the Resilience360 marketing strategy and tactics and prioritize marketing efforts to hit aggressive lead generation goals.

The possible locations where the incumbent could be placed are Troisdorf/Germany or Plantation/US.

Your tasks

  • Drive E2E Marketing efforts for R360, from strategy definition to identification of appropriate Marketing Mix to implementation and success controlling.
  • Work closely with BD and Sales resources on prioritizing activities and supporting aggressive lead generation and sales targets.
  • Help shape branding, competitive positioning, and USP
  • Develop the annual marketing plan and the strategies, tactics, and resources necessary to achieve stated goals; prioritize marketing efforts to hit aggressive lead generation goals
  • Establish success metrics, communicate results, monitor performance and refine as necessary
  • Build, develop, and manage a marketing team capable of carrying out the necessary marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Design, develop and refine workflow processes, including demand generation, marketing automation and campaign management
  • Develop and execute lead generation across the sales cycle to generate new inquiries, qualify existing prospects, drive engagement and increase pipeline
  • Support commercialization and launch of new products or product features
  • Collaborate with Sales to optimize the sales pipeline and deliver sales enablement materials
  • Manage all aspects of content marketing, social, branding, PR, events, and digital marketing
  • Build, manage and monitor the Marketing budget
  • Lead a team of 3 direct report capturing all areas in people management: recruitment, performance management, learning & development, coaching
  • Ongoing management of external resources & suppliers 

Your profile

  • University Degree; Bachelor's degree with 7-12 years’ 7-12 years of relevant B2B Marketing experience in a startup, software / SaaS environment (MBA a plus).
  • Background in logistics, supply chain or supplier management
  • Additional background from business continuity, procurement, risk management, insurance or security would be preferred
  • Proficiency in a wide range of common Marketing tools
  • Proven track record of successful lead generation and funnel management
  • High aptitude and understanding of technology
  • Understanding of SaaS Marketing
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Global perspective       
  • Prior experience working as part of international and dispersed teams
  • Start-up experience very valuable 
  • Ability to work in a fluid and fast past environment, managing large degrees of uncertainty
