We are currently seeking an Operations Excellence Manager SEA to join DHL eCommerce Thailand office!

The Operations Excellence Manager South East Asia will be responsible for all Domestic & Cross Border direct cost and quality related matters.                                                                                                                                                                                               

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Apply analytical expertise to rationalize Cost & Quality Key Performance Indicators and determine areas of improvement

  • Establish and continuously improve to all worldwide destinations delivery and transportation methods that are fast, cost efficient and sustainable

  • Continuous improvement exercises on dashboards/ reports to better aid in business decisions                                                     

Customers & Stakeholders

  • Interpret and transform the data into meaningful information that can be acted upon

  • Ensure performance reports are produced according to specifications and distributed according to the agreed timetable

  • Participate in x-functional meetings to provide inputs that can help improve costs or improve qualitative performance with minimal cost impact

  • Encourage & facilitate constructive cost & quality debates to achieve optimal results


  • Use existing tools and methodology to conduct in-depth analysis to identify issues, problems and opportunities

  • Develop or enhance tools and methodology to improve analytical and diagnostic effectiveness

  • Prepare detailed analytical reports on these findings and list of possible remedies

  • Ensure sustainability of cost card and assumptions used

  • Improve linkages between data points to increase visibility to business from cost & quality perspective

  • Keep track of actions for cost saving initiatives

People Management

  • Increase cohesiveness amongst team members to improve work effectiveness

Desired Skills / Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in e-commerce industry, preferably in logistics area

  • Minimum of 5 years overall business knowledge in the field of business intelligence, data analysis and reporting

  • Strong software skills (Excel, Access, SQL)

  • Logical reasoning, analytical and numerical analysis skills                                                                                      

Minimum Educational Qualification

  • Degree (or equivalent) or higher
