Tasks will include responding to rate inquiries, tracking packages, fulfilling orders for shipping supplies and more. Sometimes you’ll even have to calmly soothe an upset caller. As the first line of support for DHL Express, exceptional listening skills, patience and overall adaptability are key.

DHL is hiring Customer Service Advisors located at our Customer Relations Center in Tempe, AZ. Hourly Pay Rate: $15.00/HR + monthly incentive

Key Accountabilities:

Develops the overall order and service-related activities for the DHL Customer Service Function. Implements resolutions of customer account inquiries. Provides a variety of support duties to our customers.  Ensures accurate information is provided to customers in a professional manner.  Responds to inquires primarily through phone contact with customers.  Fields a high volume of inbound calls while promoting and selling the company’s products and services all in a timely manner.  Expected to de-escalate tense situations in a courteous manner.  Confidently and skillfully provides the full spectrum of DHL services such as booking inquiries, shipment supply orders, shipment tracking status updates etc. to all parties contacting DHL via our 800 number.


  • Must be available to work 40 hours/week between our hours of operation: M-F 5am-9pm and Sat 6am-5pm.
  • HS diploma or GED required. (Some College Coursework Preferred)
  • High level computer proficiency
  • Customer service experience. 1-3 years preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Great problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, friendly demeanor and courteous at all times
  • This role does not offer relocation assistance
