Position: Data Analyst (Forecasting)
Location: Solihull
Salary: £25,000-£28,000
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

For the role of Data Analyst (Forecasting) you will be responsible for ensuring that you Support timely forecast reporting for finished vehicle distribution to UK, EU & RoW from UK, Graz and Nitra. Provide centralised point of contact for all facets of forecast requirements within JLR FVD. Develop & add value to forecasting methodologies

Key Responsibilities in this role will include;

Management and development of detailed forecasting processes to ensure consistently accurate reporting to all markets
Timely reporting of forecasts defined within agreed SLA's by market
Unification of current market forecasts
Develop current methodologies to allow reports to be generated in a timely manner in the correct format by either e-mail or share point portals
Build and maintain strong working relationships with the customer to ensure all requirements are met
Ensure accuracy and consistency of metrics reported
Work with internal & external stakeholders to interpret results, devise action plans and evolve business execution
Ensure effective communication streams are defined, implemented and maintained with all stakeholders
Develop Gap analysis reports to understand differentials between forecast & actuals

Key skills and experience in this role will include:

Experience in forecasting within Automotive / LLP operations in Supply Chain division and multi modal transport operations (Road, Air & Sea)
Knowledge of DHL reporting systems
Excellent level of computer literacy, with knowledge of, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Strong Analytical skills and statistical ability
Stakeholder management, excellent influencing and communication skills. Resilient, decisive, able to learn existing applications quickly - process oriented
A collaborative team player able to work across multiple functions, locations, and cultures 
Familiar with world-wide vehicle delivery practices, procedures and forecasting methodologies
Highly proficient in SAP Business Objects
Excellent level of computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel (advanced), PowerPoint and Word
Experience in manipulating large datasets
Suitable qualifications in forecasting
