We are currently seeking a Global eCommerce Customer IT Manager to join DHL eCommerce!

The Global eCommerce Customer IT Manager will be responsible for supporting the design, development and implementation of cross divisional customer solutions for Global eCommerce customers leveraging capabilities of all DP DHL divisions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

  • Map customer IT systems and requirements against relevant DHL systems and platforms

  • Coordinate product and solution integration and enablement in customer systems

  • Define and coordinate implementation of change requests to integrate with customers

  • Document and present required IT solution to relevant DP DHL stakeholders and customers

  • Manage cross divisional and cross functional IT projects during solution development and implementation phase while taking into accountcosts, deadlines, resources and quality (e.g. scheduling and control of local/regional implementation)

  • Identify process improvements in Global eCommerce Customer solutions in collaboration with the customers and internal stakeholders in divisions ; comply with quality standards

  • Develop and maintain close relationship with customer counterparts; manage IT specialists of different business units within the DPDHL Group (Supply Chain, Express, Global Forwarding, Freight, PeP, Deutsche Post)

  • Prepare management and customer presentations and facilitate workshops

  • Develop and present business cases and management decision documents for customer IT solutions

  • Conduct market & competitor assessment to understand best in class E-commerce IT solutions and platforms

Desired Skills / Qualifications

  • Excellent English communication skills including experience in high-level business discussions, spoken and written; German and Chinese communication and cultural skills highly desired

  • Ability to build strong internal relationships across DP DHL and influence teams to deliver the right results for the business

  • Process improvement and process development experience, ideally trained in six sigma approach

  • Proactive, pragmatic and practice-oriented approach to problem-solving

  • Owner mentality, manage large number of complex initiatives and competing priorities

  • Excellent ability to cooperate in an international team and have very good communication skills

  • Ability and willingness to travel regionally and intercontinentally

  • Strong interpersonal skills with self-assured performance

  • Accountability on results produced

Minimum Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Economic Computer Science or similar discipline

  • 5-10 years of progressive professional experience in related eCommerce positions

  • Strong understanding of eCommerce technology foundation, IT architecture and process landscape

  • Deep knowledge of eCommerce market requirements as well as industry and technology trends

  • Significant achievement in delivering technology products/services with a demonstrate ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements

  • Experience in agile IT product development, ideally as scrum master, also familiar with waterfall development approach

  • Proven experience in international project management

  • Deep understanding of Asian eCommerce market with deep knowledge about IT components of major Chinese marketplaces like Alibaba or

  • Strong understanding of DP DHL IT landscape as well as products & services
