Work Location : Singapore / Malaysia (Contract will be based on candidate's location) 

Overall Role Purpose

  • The key role of the Business Analyst is to ensure a sound understanding of the project requirements and associated effects of changes to Work instructions / processes, Manual systems and/or Solutions by identifying and describing changes and innovations that contribute to the delivery of quality processes and systems that support the business in achieving goals and objectives set. 
  • This role is specifically focused on the development of the training required to support SATS In-Facility. This includes the delivery as well as ongoing development and maintenance of SATS and Autosort based training.


  • Liaising with users to understand, document and prioritise business problems, opportunities and requirements 
  • Providing a business oriented and structured analysis of requirements within a project, so that the business needs are clearly defined and incorporated into any document proposing a solution
  • Ensuring that solution requirements are fully documented, justified, agreed and handed over to the IT design and development supplier for further technical analysis and ultimately development
  • Resolving any issues raised by the IT supplier and liaising between the IT supplier and the user community
  • Supporting the preparation of a structured test approach and the timely testing (from the business perspective) of solutions
  • Providing the required level of business understanding to ensure that all phases of a project deliver results that meet business directives in accordance with organisational standards and business strategies
  • Working with the Programme Manager to identify issues and alleviate risks

Desired Skills / Qualifications

  • University Degree
  • Minimum of 5-8 years experience in an analytical, project orientated or wide operations role  
  • Familiarity with SATS & Autosort systems, and/or  Hub and Gateway operations preferred
  • Highly motivated with an ability to manage varying workloads against timescales
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Demonstrable experience in the analysis, design and implementation of training solutions
  • Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Functional and data modeling skills/ability
  • Understanding of the existing processes and solutions within the Network Operations preferred
  • Possess a background in the use of structured methodologies, tools and design and analysis techniques or a willingness to adopt these techniques
