Location: National Role. Ideal locations would be in the region of Birmingham, Manchester and Wakefield. 
Customer: TJX (TK MAXX)
Grade/Salary: RCS J / Up to £55,000 (depending of experience)
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

As the Cross Docking Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the budget and operational responsibility for the 8 UK&I cross dock centres and associated store delivery functions for TJX Europe. You will own the 3rd party relationships, commercial agreements & SLA's for the collaborations with Boots, M&S and the wider DHl business. A part of this role will be to sit on the Senior Leadership Team, take an active role in managing the TJX Outbound operation within the UK, Europe and the Hatfield Multi user site. Another aspect of this role will be the delivery / management of contractual KPI's such as T&T, OPH, Dwell Time and contributes to DHL bottom line through the Gainshare mechanism. Furthermore, you will have responsibility for the delivery of high quality and cost efficient service to customer through professional account management.

The key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Manage the safe execution of the TJX UK Outbound Transport &  CDC Operations for UK.
  • Design and delivery of strategic projects and improvement of processes to support growth.
  • Identification of closed book opportunities, and execution of costs saving initiatives to support the closed book multi-user operation in Hatfield.
  • Support the achievement of EBIT across area of responsibility through delivery of service & related service credits, whilst maximising gainshare opportunity.
  • Manage customer relationship effectively, measured against Customer survey results

  • Experience in Supply Chain division, ideally with a retail customer.
  • Worked in an environment of change management & growth.
  • Operational /  Account Management experience.
  • Customer relationship management skills.
  • Transport  Management experience.
