Comms Editor with Product Marketing Skills

This position combines the skills of an editor with those of a marketing specialist. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in IT combined with the ability to write and market our IT products internally.

The role involves the implementation and distribution of content for the IT Services communication channels (newsletter, Intranet) and ensuring that stories are engaging and informative. It involves coordinating the publication of updates for the Business stakeholders and ad hoc communication (e.g., management e-mails, announcements) and ensures that material is clear, credible, and grammatically correct.  That role also includes creating a set of  IT Services product pages that can be market internally therefore experiences in the product marketing area are needed.

  •  Support the storyline and develop the content of strategic topic communication for our monthly newsletter to our business customer audience
  •  Proofread text/ articles and improve its clarity, spelling, and punctuation
  •  Support our IT Services Managing Director and other board members by ghostwriting editorials, opinion pieces, and employee engagement content, as well as ideation and storyline development for conferences, town halls and ad hoc events
  •  Work closely with our multimedia specialist on video-based content, with our external designer on imagery and infographics and with our subject matter experts or leaders on tailored learning events and deep dive content
  •  Apply a customer-centric approach to our messaging and promotions of our IT products or services 

  •  University degree or equivalent qualification
  •  Native speaker / Fluency in English
  •  3-5 years of experiences with communication and marketing work 
  •  Highly proficient with MS Office 

  •  Excellent writing and editing skills (English is a must, German is a plus) 
  •  IT background/being technically capable 
  •  Able to translate highly technical topics into engaging, human-centric story-telling pieces that non-techies understand and see the value of 
  •  Has product marketing skills
  •  Able to see the big picture and know how to connect the dots back to our customer to add real business value
