Position: LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) Driver Development Assessor
Shift Pattern: Any 5 out of 7 days. 10 hour shifts.
Contracted Hours: 50 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

What does this job involve?

  • Managing the driver training on site
  • Manage the compliance
  • Conduct driving assessments and monitor driving test

We are looking for Driver Assessor who:

  • Hold a valid C+E Driving License
  • DDA Training Qualification is required - RTITB, RoSPA or Level 3 Assessors qualification
  • Risk assessment trained would be beneficial
  • IT and computer literate
  • Practice and train in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring adherence to parking, speed and road signage
  • Work safely within the Health and safety environmental guidelines, and ensure all vehicle checks are carried out prior to commencement of work
  • Are flexible in approach to work, and work effectively as part of a team, providing support in resolving problems and have a can do, right first time and passionate approach
  • Work within all legal parameters of drivers hours and working time directive legislation, being fully compliant with tachograph and break requirements
  • Have basic mechanical understanding
