We are currently seeking for Manager, Project and Product Management to join DHL eCommerce Malaysia!

The Manager, Project and Product Management be responsible for 1) delivering all components of the project on time, on budget, within scope, and within agreed quality standards 2) managing our current product portfolio and ensure it is on-par with competitor in the local market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Understands and utilizes standard project implementation methodologies (PRINCE2, PMP, DePICT) and tools to manage the project life-cycle

  • Produces the project definition document (approach, task, scope), co-ordinates sign off and ensure deliverables are included in consolidated project plan

  • Ensures compliance with any product/functional standards, with minimal customization of overall IT product

  • Communicates status regularly to Senior Management Team (SMT) and respective stakeholders

  • Proactively manages cost, deadlines, dependencies (internal and external) and communication on project progress

  • Carries out a risk assessment, continually monitors project risks and develops a plan with mitigating actions

  • Manages the Go Live support activity; Manages the escalation route for issues and attends the daily progress reviews during the post live support period

  • Resolves business issues related to budgeting, licensing, invoice reconciliation/payment, maintenance, scope management, and timelines

    Product Management

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the market place and each customer segment

  • Develop and implement new product launches includes service level monitoring of the new product

  • Develop systems and processes and test pilot them to ensure effective and efficient implementation of products and services campaigns

  • Direct the execution of product plans in order to achieve the products’ growth, profitability and market share targets

  • Manage new product performance against targets, reviewing results on a regular basis in order to identify and prioritize adjustments to ensure targets are achieved and surpassed

    Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinates all Workstreams – IT, Warehouse Implementation, Commercial/Product • Serves as the escalation point of contact for all project team members

  • Ensures team member availability to perform their assigned tasks on time and budget and within quality expectations

    Desired Skills / Qualifications

  • 5-10 years’ experience, ideally in a logistics environment

  • 3-5 years in a project environment Essential

  • Experience with IT systems implementation desirable

  • Certification in PRINCE2, PMP, or logistics-specialized project management methodologies will be an advantage

  • Fluent in written and spoken English; Fluency in another East/Southeast Asian language desirable

Minimum Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree
