Working Location: Macau

Reporting to Senior Vice President & Managing Director, Hong Kong & Macau, you will oversee and manage the Macau express delivery business and operations to achieve short-term and long-term financial and operating objectives in line with DHL strategy.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage Sales, Customer Service, Operations and Administration teams on a company level to ensure effective operations of the organization
  • Formulate and implement strategies for short-term and long-term business goals
  • Manage and take responsibility for the company-level financial budgets, profit & loss, cost and revenue management
  • Ensure full legal and regulatory compliance of company policies and procedures
  • Monitor organization performance to ensure high productivity and market-leading service to customers
  • Liaise with regional and Hong Kong teams as well as external parties for efficient and quality shipment processes and transit time performanceExplore business growth opportunities and extend market share
  • Represent the company externally, build external network in the industry and ensure excellent company branding in the
    market
  • Shape directions and navigate teams to achieve targets on revenue and profitability, transit time, data quality and customer service performanceMake challenging business decisions and ensure proper actions are in place
  • Plan and manage allocation of manpower and resources based on business needs to ensure long-term organization success
  • Review performance statistical reports, initiate and drive changes in organization to ensure high performance and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Business, Logistics or related disciplines
  • Minimum 10 years’ sales or general management experience with sound knowledge in Logistics or Express Delivery industry, with at least 5 years’ proven experience in leading sizable teams
  • Strong business acumen with good financial sense of costs and ROI
  • Customer-oriented with strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong professional network and competency in developing professional relationships with both external parties and internal departments within the Group
  • Strong leadership competency in driving organization performance, together with proven records of strong employee engagement results
  • Excellent presentation, analytical and decision making skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • Proficient PC skills
  • Travelling to Hong Kong is required
