Your tasks
As a technical services avionics engineer (m/f/x) at DHL Express, you will be responsible for maintaining avionics systems both on- and off-wing. More specifically, your tasks will encompass maintenance and providing other departments with avionics-related technical support. You will implement and monitor hard-time components in TRAX and uphold further general regulatory requirements; review, analyze and prepare operational instructions and maintenance procedures according to guidelines; detect and solve recurrent problems related to the airframe; and issue reports pertaining to technical investigations. Your duties will also include preparing the work scope for avionic equipment, reviewing base maintenance and shop reports, making proposals to update the maintenance program when necessary, and conducting follow-up inspections.

Your profile

  • Qualification in Aerospace or Avionics/Electric Engineering; alternatively, similar accreditation in aircraft maintance (Avionics/Electric - B2 license)
  • Experience working in Avionics/Electric or related equipment maintenance highly desirable
  • Good understanding of IT tools (Office); TRAX competence desirable
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and German
  • Systematic and analytical thinker; high level of accuracy
  • Capable of working under pressure and autonomously
  • Motivated, flexible, and reliable
