eCommerce & Customer Integration Specialist

As a eCommerce& Customer Integration Specialist you will be working with customers in a consultative role to understand customer order fulfillment logistics and eCommerce requirements and delivering the best shipping and visibility solutions.

Principal Accountabilities:
eShipping Solutions and Integration

Providing holistic IT shipping and logistics consultancy to customers as part of finding the best fit shipping solution/s that meet our customer requirements. Typically automated and integrated with a minimal end-user experience.

Working directly with our eCommerce, Fieldsales, and Key account customers, incl. global
Multi-National Customers (MNC) and Customer Solutions & Innovations
customers (CSI).

Successfully influence business wins based on technology influence. From both an IT solution implementation and from IT industry awareness, having the ability to be the key reason to win new business is a key focus.

Knowing how customer order management technologies have and are evolving and understanding the IT industry of logistics and shipping. Ability to understand and work with varying customer technologies and complexity (Legacy and State of Art). All of which support the consultative approach with customers.

Collaborate and influence customers on bestfit solutions based on their resources, logistics and shipping

Be responsibility for the implementation and support of our standard e-shipping solutions and bespoke
customer implementations.

Quality awareness and give due diligence to system changes. Preparation based on known records, system backups and system discovery with the customer, to ensure all functional aspects of the shipping solution are intact once the work is completed.

KPI Management

Setting strategic approaches to each ESS KPI including setting monthly milestones and objectives and ensuring targets are met through the introduction of projects and/or the distribution of work activities to the wider ESS IT team. Being the project lead and reporting regularly to management in country and in the regional office.

Requirements for the role:

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a direct customer interfacing role
Ability to translate complex customer and business requirements into onboarding setups
Strong Business IT acumen with experience in decision making when customer facing
Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills and ability to think and work in high pressure situations
Experience in IT logistics systems such as Warehouse Management systems, Enterprise Resource Planning and Customer Relationship management solutions.
Strong understanding of eCommerce and Public / Private Cloud solutions that provide IAAS, PAAS, SAAS services
Process driven ,methodical and with a keen eye for detail in relation to systems’ capabilities. Planning and
Organisation skills required with a results orientated mind-set
Proficient in Information Systems implementations.
Full Clean Driving License
IT / Computer Science Degree a distinct advantage
