Security & Fleet Manager
The main purpose of this role is to participate in design and ensure implementation of security and fleet strategy so as to maximize the security of employees, customer shipments and company assets, and also to provide transportation of materials or products ensuring on-time physical delivery of goods to the customer and ensure guaranteed minimum delivery times in line with business strategy and requirements, corporate guidelines and policies.
Draw up and implement a security audit schedule that complies with Network standards.
Carry out security spot checks on both individuals (eg badges) and facilities including Retail Service Points
Maintain records of any instances of theft or security lapses eg unauthorized destinations, recommending appropriate actions. (Maintain the Network Security Incidence Website).
Liaise with the Authorities and manage the delivery of controlled shipments.
Investigate any incidents of theft or security breach, including interviewing involved parties and recommend appropriate actions.
Maintain the Security Policy as per Network updates and ISO procedures and ensure everyone appropriate is aware of both the policy and any updates.
Proactively test Security at all facilities and recommend changes of Policy or procedures required.
Make sure that CCTV System is on and running at all times, Provide footage when necessary
Addressing SCMS cases with DHL Network and Have Excellent control on Third party security guards
With the Country Operations Director ensure that a schedule of maintenance is developed and implemented for all vehicles.
Visit all locations including Retail Service Points on a regular basis carrying out both scheduled audits of fleet presentation and maintenance and spot checks (both in station and on road).
Manage the repair and replacement of vehicles including ensuring logos are in place / replaced.
Manage the relationship with suppliers, ensuring DHL gets first class service in all aspects of vehicle provision and maintenance and reporting on any changes to service provider or improvements required.
Track vehicle incidents, analyze patterns and recommend preventative measures for the future eg reversing beepers to resolve reversing accidents.
Liaise with the Operations Coach Trainer in relation to Defensive Driving provider and training results.
Investigate and recommend alternative suppliers where there is a cost or service differential.
Track and report on fuel cost and consumption, highlighting any areas that need addressing
Manage the distribution of fines and deduction of appropriate fines from the correct individual and send to HR if any deductions will be done.
Check invoices to ensure that all charges are appropriate and where they are not, liaise / negotiate with the supplier for their removal.

Clean Kuwaiti Drivers Licence
