YOUR TASKS

Reporting to CFO, Hong Kong and Macau, you will lead the Management Reporting & Controlling Team to formulate, implement and maintain cost and budgetary control mechanisms for the company in Hong Kong and Macau.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of Annual Operational Plan (AOP) and management and cost reports based on in-depth business performance analysis
  • Lead a team of Controllers as finance business partners to different functions, providing financial expertise on revenue and cost related matters, and supporting all levels of company and functional business reviews
  • Monitor costs against budgets, conduct in-depth business analysis with assessment of financial implications to the business, and provide recommendations to support management in making strategic investment decisions and formulating business development plans
  • Monitor costing system, evaluate investment projects and capital expenditure plans, and initiate improvement actions
  • Monitor and identify internal control issues based on DPDHL compliance standards and provide advices to different functions to ensure continuous improvement.



YOUR PROFILE

Requirement
  • Degree holder in Accounting/ Finance or related disciplines, preferably with MBA qualification
  • Professional accountancy qualification (CPA or equivalent)
  • Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in management accounting, with at least 5 years in senior people manager role, preferably in logistics industry or multinational companies
  • Strong in forward planning with business and strategic mindset
  • Strong business acumen, be able to apply and ensure all stakeholders understand financial and business principles
  • Able to influence others by building coalitions, strategic relationships and networks, and able to make alignment across different stakeholders
  • Strong analytical competency by applying broad analysis and anticipating outcomes for functional issues
  • Customer oriented with excellent presentation skills and high capability to communicate with top management at local and regional levels
  • Strong leadership skills in developing the team to the next level as well as driving team performance and employee engagement results
  • Language proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese
