Primary Purpose of the Role:

Responsible for Security and Operational Resilience Programs to include Security (with enhanced C-TPAT role), Occupational Health and Safety, Business Continuity Management and Transportation Security Administration (TSA), on a facility level.

Primary Responsibilities:


Assists sub-Regional Security Heads in providing security, loss prevention, fraud management, conduct of investigations, security program development and CCTV and access control installation/maintenance services on a facility level.

To provide advice and guidance on the implementation of best practices relating to security, fraud, loss prevention, and security program development and implementation as it relates to DGF Logistics operations.

Customs - Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT)

Provide administrative support to DGF’s Supply Chain Security Programs to lend transparency to established security policies and procedures while promoting compliance with internationally recognized best practices.

Ensure the collection, review, validation and transfer of relevant security related information between DGF facility and their business partners.

Assist in performance of required activities to validate compliance with secure commerce best practices in connection with Supply Chain Security programs such as C-TPAT, BASC, PIP, NEEC, AEO and others.

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)

Manages station OHS related risks and liability by interacting with Operations directly on issues at the facility level.

Serves as site point of contact for safety regulatory agencies; support regulatory compliance in facility operations addressing findings of non-compliance.

Manages local HAZMAT compliance and dangerous goods handling, inter-department process management and training compliance in support of regulation/industry best practices.

Conducts risk/safety facility audits, communicates audit results, develops action items, and results that minimize risk.

Business Continuity Management (BCM)

Coordinates day-to-day facility specific BCM operations/activities.

Implements BCM standards, guidelines and procedures.

Assumes direct responsibility for leading a variety of BCM projects.

Contributes to the strategic efforts surrounding the BCM ISO Certification (Regional/Global).

Provides general BCM awareness training for managerial staff at facility level.

Transportation Security Administration (TSA)

Serves as primary point of contact to support regulatory compliance in facility operations.

Maintains continuous TSA availability (24/7/365).

Conducts frequent review of all security related functions to ensure that all are effective and in TSA compliance as outlined in Facility Security Plans and initiates corrective action for any instance of non-compliance.
