Role Purpose

To support the CDC with driving and delivery duties to our customers store's, accurate checking of items being delivered and collected, loading and unloading of the vehicle at the customers stores and vendor collection points, deliver and collect to our customers PC's using double deck trailers, to adhere to all customer SOP's, SSOW, Risk Assessments, Compliance to EU tachograph rules & regulations and legal compliance, compliant with DHL OP13 vehicle checks, Defect reporting process, and daily knock sheets.

Role Responsibility

• Support the operation to ensure deliveries are made to our customers store in a professional manner

• Support the delivery of key operating measures

• Contribute to meeting and exceeding the customer’s requirements. Work closely with the Transport Supervisors to ensure all service levels agreements are achieved.

• Contribute to a safer environment through on-going training and refresher training to maintain high a high standard

• Uphold a high standard of compliance with regular training to include DCPC, Tachograph compliance via training and re-training for infringement sign off.

Key skills and experience in this role will include:

LGV Licence

Manual Handling training

DCPC compliant

Smiths Qualification

Compliant with site SOP's, SSOW, Risk Assessments

The site operates 24/7, a flexible and positive approach to working annualised hours and a shift pattern which encompasses bank holidays and weekends is required

Lgv Licence held for a minimum of 2 years

Store delivery experience

Ability to work to a high standard of accuracy

Accountability

Good communication skills ( Verbal and written)
