DHL Express currently has an opening for a Sr. Analyst, Mobile Device Implementation to manage the overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of IT Mobile Devices (with special focus on device applications which support business functions). This position is responsible for ensuring that deployment goals and objectives are met within agreed upon time, scope, and resource requirements. The role also handles the deployment of applications/software, testing/repair support and develops and executes project management plans that incorporate the following components: time, cost, scope, quality, communications, and risk. Device Managers are responsible for the delivery of consistently successful, individual project outcomes.
Professionals who manage our device footprint projects are responsible for the delivery of individual, IS projects.
This individual establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in adherence with service level agreements.
Translates project requirements into project tasks and task requirements.
Identifies and allocates project team resources.
Develops detailed project schedules, cost estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
Tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plans and or resource allocation as necessary. Communicates major project milestones.
Independently performs assignments to achieve stated objective. Determines and develops approach to solutions. Receives technical guidance only on unusual or complex problems or issues.
May be responsible for entire projects or functions having modest scope/impact or portions of projects having considerable scope/impact to department, area, and, at times, business unit results. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve objectives would typically result in noticeable program delays and considerable expenditure of resources to rectify.
Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of particular field of specialization to the completion of complex assignments. Primary contribution is in applying knowledge (product, industry, professional, technical) doing individual contributor work. Should specialize in support and management of handheld devices (including Symbol, Motorola, and Zebra scanner devices). Individual will also have experience in troubleshooting and fixes (hands-on and remote), in addition to deployment of applications to handheld devices leveraging an MDM solution (preferably SOTI). Knowledge of XML, VB/Powershell scripting and C is preferred. Knowledge of Linux, Android OS and Windows preferred.
May oversee the completion of projects
or assignments, including; planning, assigning, monitoring, and reviewing
progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc. May contribute to
employees' professional development.
Performs advanced level professional work. Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem-solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems.
Skill & Qualifications:
Experienced Professional contributor with responsibility for an advanced area of work in the professional field.
Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline and 5-8 years of experience in related field or MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in related field.
Professional certification required in some areas.
Location: Position to be located in Erlanger, KY (CVG) preferably. For the well-qualified candidate, other locations may be considered.
