We are currently hiring a Duty Manager for the Quality Control Center at the CVG Erlanger, KY Hub. The Duty Manager will plan and lead shift operations to deliver world class shipment monitoring and resolution support by setting and driving high performance expectations of the team, ensuring a healthy operating environment through regular feedback and manage the implementation of globally and regionally defined processes to ensure shipments under distress are identified and resolved. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to provide quality and timely information and counsel with regards to activities, issues and development in the QCC/FSC

  • Ability to lead shipment investigation, coordinate actions and ensure relevant parties are kept informed of progress

  • Support the QCC Specialists by directly intervening in any difficult and complex escalations requiring immediate attention

  • Ensure that all agreed team policies and procedures are communicated and followed

  • Develop user friendly solutions that meet the business need

  • Develop a culture of quality and service excellence-Present and support the QCC/FSC concept, objectives and benefits to customers  

Skills & Qualifications:

  • BS/BA or minimum of 7 years previous experience in logistics field

  • Relevant working experience in Operations or Customer Service is preferred

  • Strong ability to learn software and computer programs quickly with strong proficiency in MS Excel Powerpoint and Access preferred-Good understanding of DHL’s physical network and GSOP

  • Ability to work rotational shifts 

  • Bilingual - with English, Portuguese and Spanish is advantageous
