We currently have a need for a Joint Ventures Data Entry Supervisor at our CVG Airport facility in Erlanger, Kentucky.  This position will be responsible for establishing and executing the policies and procedures necessary to manage the virtual and physical manipulation of cargo data, imaging and documentation within, into, and out of the Hub.  He/She will also ensure that the entire process meets customer and internal requirements and is completed in an organized, efficient and safe manner.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manages and coordinates Joint Ventures office expectations and performance standards to ensure the highest possible visibility and data integrity KPI’s for each customer are met.

  • Implements and directs quality control between all 3 shifts.

  • Directs and ensures compliance with established DHL corporate, hub, gateway or terminal warehouse Hub/Gateway, and airline policies, procedures and standards in accordance with government regulations.

  • Establishes and maintains a record keeping system for all virtual and physical documents required to be kept for any period of time.

  • Communicates with some or all of the following: Network Control Group, Loadplanning, operations, WFS Management, Polar, ACS, DGF, Forward Air, and any other acquired customer or 3rd party contractor we may acquire.

  • Oversees the document connectivity and data entry for all outbound departures from the HUB as well as all inbound and outbound truck data.

  • Directly Responsible for the increase in visibility to cargo going to export destinations in all systems as well as ensure all appropriate documentation has been imaged and uploaded for visibility at destination.

  • Supervises 15-20 subordinates; responsible for hiring, coaching, training, and developing staff.

  • Ability to work 3rd shift as well as rotate to 1st and 2nd shift periodically to ensure cohesion.

Key Requirements

  • 2 years experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse or industry related field preferred

  • BS/BA (preferred) with previous supervisory experience

  • Advanced Level Skills in MS Word and Excel

  • Strong communication (oral and written) skills

  • Positions available for 3rd shift, candidates should be very flexible

  • Minimum 1 (one) year of supervisory experience preferred
