      We have an immediate career opportunity for a qualified GSE “Ground Support Equipment” Maintenance Supervisorat our Erlanger, KY hub. As a GSE Supervisor, you will provide a variety of GSE/Facility management, administrative management and general office support duties at supervisory level, including but not limited to the following:

      ·Direct management and Supervise, performance monitoring and controlling of our GSE “Ground Support Equipment” Maintenance department.

      ·Work alongside Corporate Legal, Risk and Procurement divisions to negotiate, execute, renew or refresh 3rd party service Agreements (as applicable within area of responsibility).

      ·Develop annualized budget for area(s) of responsibility.   Ensure timely and detailed tracking and reporting of expenses.

      ·Lead and/or support employee, executive and/or customer events both on and off the CVG campus.

      ·Assist in the oversight and execution of various site services, including, but not limited to, snow removal and grounds maintenance.

      ·Support all facets of the Hub Support Services Group (Sort, Facility and GSE Maintenance) as necessitated by the business.

      ·Other duties as assigned by management.

      Customer (Internal):

      ·Interactions are with subordinates, service providers, counterparts, local management, executive management and internal customers.   

      ·Interaction requires a proactive/preventive approach regarding impact of services, specific phases of work or operation. 

      ·Role model to subordinate peers and service providers; instructs and teaches others. 

      Impact:

      ·Sets objectives and delivers results that have both immediate and longer-term impact within the area of responsibility. 

      ·Erroneous decisions or recommendations or failure to achieve results would normally result in noticeable delays in assigned work resulting in moderate expenditure of additional time, human resources and/or funds.

      People Management:

      ·Primary contribution is 3rd party service providers (via the designated site manager).  

      ·Schedules work for optimum efficiency, productivity and completion.  Provides day-to-day work direction.  

      Process:

      ·Recommends and implements process improvements for area; identifies, defines and develops solutions to issues and problems that are not immediately evident in existing systems.  

      ·Focused on maintaining steady workflow and productivity, meeting service/productivity standards and resolving operational problems and/or disturbances. 

      ·Assigns and checks work.  Provides guidance and training. 

      ·Majority of time is focused on management all 3rdparty service providers.   

      ·Position primarily reports during daytime business hours; however, must be flexible to shift, day(s) of week to support 24x7 business unit and responsibilities within.

      Skill & Qualification:

      ·Complete understanding and wide application of principles, theories and concepts related to GSE Maintenance to include.

      ·Preventative and corrective maintenance of Aircraft handling and Ground Support Equipment and Support components.

      ·Repairs to include complete troubleshooting and testing of associated parts and components related to the function of the equipment as well as vehicle washing, cleaning, oil changes, greasing and inspection of hoses, belts, fluids and wiring. 

      ·Performs vehicle repairs by disassembling and overhauling engines, transmissions, clutches, rear ends, and other assemblies. Replaces worn or broken parts, aligns wheels, adjusts brakes, tightens bearings, and tunes engines. 

      ·Conducts routine and periodic inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of K-loaders, Tugs, Aircraft Push Tractors, Belt loader, KVAs, Ground Power Units, Forklifts, Vans, Trucks (gasoline and diesel), As well as all other Motorized and Non-Motorized Airport equipment.

      ·Inspect equipment engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.

      ·Knowledge of equipment diagnostic systems and methods needed to inspect the equipment's computer and electronic systems for repair, maintaining and upgrades.

      ·Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating, changing parts etc.) to maintain the functionality and longevity of the equipment. Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts or fix issues (e.g. leaks).

      ·Provide accurate estimates (cost and time) for a repair. Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise operators on good equipment use.

      ·Requires excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Knowledge in reading and comprehending electrical connection diagrams and schematics

      ·An advanced understanding of specific aspects of work supervised and practical application to problems and situations ordinarily encountered. 

      ·Knows and effectively uses fundamental concepts, practices and procedures relative to quality and productivity improvements, training, budgeting and cost control, and progressive techniques in the specialized area of office/facility management and GSE Maintenance.

      ·Generally understands the basic supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation and disciplinary action.  

      ·Strong understanding of 3rdparty service provider concept, philosophy and management.  

      ·Superior customer service skills with a proactive/preventive mindset.    Prior GeT/SAP experience strongly preferred.  

      ·Prior operations, administration or customer service supervisory/management experience strongly preferred.  

      ·Commercial property and/or real estate management experience a plus.

      Physical Requirements

      • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, frequently at times.
      • Must be able to lift up to 70lbs regularly.
      • Must be able to work in hot and cold environments to include inclement weather.
      • Must be able to stand for long durations.
