  Job Purpose

The Marketing & Communication Executive prime responsibility is to support the development and implementation of market leading communications, promotions through all elements of the Marketing Mix. These will executed both internally and externally. Must ensure all communication adhere to the brand guidelines and values set by DHL.

  Key Tasks

·Produce and drive internal communication plan and strategy in conjunction                with Sales Director and other Functional Managers across the business.

·Creating artwork for a variety of communications material to include: Advertising, POS, Branding and Marketing projects/campaigns.

·Creating artwork of the highest standard within customer guidelines.

·Ensure that all artwork work is delivered according to brand and corporate identity guidelines.

·Adapting artwork based on feedback from internal stakeholders.

·Creating print ready artwork for use by various departments.

·Post campaign evaluation and research as and when required – ROI Analysis

·Help with the organization of customer and sporting events to support the business needs of reaching desired audience thus raising brand and product profile.Develop corporate literature and advertising in line with regional and Country design, copy, branding and quality standards

·Organisation of Media Purchase and placement ensuring quality, timeliness and progressing relationships with media suppliers as part of position development.

·Ensure filing, maintenance and distribution of marketing material including competitor information and DHL literature.

·Planning, developing and implementing effective marketing communication campaigns.

·Using the full marketing mix for the company’s marketing communications

·Writing copy for all marketing collateral, including brochures, letters, emails and websites.

·Understanding the product and customer profile and write thorough specs for each.

·Monitoring ongoing campaign spend against the budget, keeping accurate records and highlighting where variances occur.

·Producing an accurate summary of total spend at the end of a marketing campaign.

· Undertaking detailed ongoing analysis of marketing campaigns to ensure targets are met.

·Assisting in the production of ongoing competitor analysis and reporting, with particular reference to pricing, presentation and promotion.

·Implementing communications plans to increase brand awareness and recognition for the organization.

·Keeping up to date with advances in social media technology and the latest social media platforms.

·Maximizing followers social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc.

·Monitoring social media for customer comments both positive and negative.

 Qualifications & Key Requirements                                                                               

Education Level

Bachelor Degree- with Marketing specialization will be an advantage

Experience Level

§Degree in Marketing would be an advantage 

§Previous experience in a similar role

§Strong project management/organizational skills

§Ability to use spreadsheets to analyze data and spot trends

§Understanding of customer segmentation
