SUMMARY

Our Infrastructure Operation team is looking for a new team member!

You will be Technical Expert for 1st & 2nd level Application Support for large Enterprise Desktop Deployment Technologies and Services.  You will be the driver for complex technical solutions on improving system compliance and its automation.  You will provide architectural input and work closely with line managers to develop technical team members.  Additionally, you will effectively manage maximum availability and minimize disruption to the Global Personal Work Space services and ensure that all agreed targets; SLA's and Metrics are met.

Our goal is to ensure that the organization has the right knowledge and capabilities to deliver 1st and 2nd level support for infrastructure, keeping the infrastructure up and running 24x7x365

TEAM INTRODUCTION

As a System Support person in Infrastructure Operation team; we support, maintain and monitor the datacenter infrastructure  (Prague and Kuala Lumpur) 24 x 7 and ensure that underlying infrastructure (hardware, operating systems, databases and middleware) availability meets the agreed Service Level targets..

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Manage coordination and troubleshooting of Enterprise level Security compliance management internally and externally with the product support teams.
  • Guide teams and improve security compliance management across end clients.
  • Incident and Problem ticket analysis and trend analysis
  • Confidence with trouble-shooting and problem-solving
  • Manage Requests for Change
  • Maintain and Monitor Backend Altiris/SCCM/SEPM infrastructure
  • Ability to clearly communicate both spoken and written.
  • Support Calls for critical incident handling.
  • Support Calls for Application and Patch deployment related incidents.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Desktop Support experience in a Windows-based environment.
  • Enterprise Level Antivirus (Symantec\Cyberreason\Defender\Avast)
  • Enterprise Deployment Tools (Altiris/SCCM)
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of English language (both spoken and written).
  • Knowledge in Scripting (Powershell\VB\Other)
  • Comfortable using Command Line Tools
  • Software deployment/streaming activities, both within and externally with the vendor support teams.
  • Knowledge Management
  • Incident and Problem ticket analysis and trend analysis
  • Document technical processes and procedures in a clear and understandable fashion
  • Maintain and Regular revision of support documents
  • Liaison/Knowledge transfer between GPWS Services and Service Desk/Country IT
  • Manage Requests for Change.
  • Maintain Global Country Patch manager contact lists
  • Must be able to provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotational basis during the weekend and also prepare to work during public holidays
