Senior Test Manager

SUMMARY

We are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Test Manager to join our team. You will provide testing and test management know how. You will also coordinate and manage planning of all test levels within a development or integration project or program. You will be responsible for integrity of testing and acceptance of activities. You will provides authoritative advice and guidance on any aspect of test planning and execution according to ITS Processes.                                 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Manage all phases of testing, including plans, resources, costs, timescales, test deliverables and auditability

• Develops and executes training on new test processes and / or tools

• Involve presenting to or influencing business representatives or vendors and in issues related to specific phases of work or technical issues                                          

• Create, obtain approval of, maintain the master test plan and execute the master test plan within time and budget

• Acknowledge, anticipate, report on project risks, define or advise on test policy, execute test process optimization to use the best test process for the specific project and participate in project meetings to justify for the test relevancy

• Assess test process and specify logical and physical test cases, starting situations and test scripts

• Set up and maintain test environments, execute test cases (dynamic testing), check and assess test results               

• Select project testing standards for all phases, influencing all parties to conform to those standards and oversee the completion of projects       

• Manage the client relationship with respect to all testing matters.

• Lead, motivate and develop the Testing Team through day to day and formal performance management processes to facilitate the delivery of fully tested fit for purpose solutions & deliverables

• Contribute to employees’ professional development

• Unix, Oracle SQL, HPQC, Load Runner, Test automation tools 

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

• More than 8 years of experience including 5 years of testing or test management with emphasis on problem solving skills                                       

• Some experience of software development, project management, service management                            

• Strong in testing and test management

• Automation test script writing and execution     

• Knowledge of performance stress test, Perform in-depth root cause analysis on performance issues

• Strong in estimation methods and conceptual thinking                                  

• Strong sense of responsibility                                   

• Strong in business focus (service, relationship and quality)                                                          

• Solid in project management     

• Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to quickly earn the trust of team members and key stakeholders (internally and externally)                       

• Solid knowledge of configuration management
