Ground Operations Manager - Chile
Maximize the efficiency of operations on Ground Operations. To spread to staff the search for results, the agility of the processes and the constant improvement in the times. Working with local customs, in import and export processes, connecting with different areas within the operations. Keep up to date with any change that allows for improved management times or costs. Frequently meeting with customers. Improve the KPIs of the Operations Ground area service and achieve high efficiency in the equipment.
Comply with GSOP standards for pick and delivery operations in Chile
Implement actions and strategies to reach service levels and KPIs targets for Chile.
- Improve productivity and optimize function cost.
Continuously adjust to domestic connectivity designing and activating contingencies for pick and delivery efforts
Collaborate with other Departments for the successful implementation of new projects and customers and identify opportunities for improvement of current clients and work on improvement plans for them.
Determine training needs of the staff as necessary. Collaborate in training as required.
Lead implementation of new systems and innovate processes to improve service level.
Support business development efforts, including client visits as required
Provide expert advice to both internal and external customers
Actively seek out, develop and implement process improvement opportunities for the business
Demonstrated success in leading, supervising, managing and developing managers, staff and high performance teams.
Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple projects and set priorities.
Ability to make customers and their needs a primary focus of one's actions; developing and sustaining productive relationships.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and GSOP´s.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees and customers.
Build equipment that handles pressure and work peaks with serenity.

University Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
- More than 6 years of experience in related field.
Demonstrated experience leading numerous groups of employees
- Bilingual English-Spanish.
Skill in the use of computer systems (Word-Excel-PowerPoint-Access-Other).
- Experience in Six Sigma (First Choice) is a plus.
Complete understanding and wide application of principles, theories, and concepts in function or business area
- Professional certification required in some areas
