We are looking for a highly motivated Customer Experience team member who will manage the front-desk for our upcoming DHL Americas Innovation Center (AMIC) – a brand new facility focused on engaging startups and industries on the future of logistics. Our new Innovation Center will host visits from over 5,000 supply chain and industry professionals annually and will be the latest addition to DHL’s Innovation Centers in Germany and Singapore. Key Responsibilities

As a member of our customer experience team, you will be the first to greet our visitors and thus will play an in integral role in driving excellent customer service from arrival to departure for all visitors to the Innovation Center. Other key duties are below:

  • Open the Innovation Center daily, five days a week
  • Manage the front-desk, greet visitors and manage registration of visitors
  • Provide hospitality assistance to visitors throughout the length of their visit including servicing the lounge and bar area on occasion
  • Manage inbound calls and letter/parcel deliveries to the Innovation Center
  • Manage payment of services from visitors on the day (e.g. meeting room bookings, catering services) using our e-payment portal
  • Support the Head of Customer Experience with processing inbound booking requests to the Innovation Center
  • Support the Head of Customer Experience with any other tasks that may arise to ensure excellent customer service to visitors

Requirements:

  • Requires BS/BA or related work experience in related discipline and 0-2 years of experience in related field
  • Passionate about driving excellent customer service
  • Background in hospitality, marketing, or event management
  • Intercultural knowledge and understanding
  • Team-player mindset; can do attitude
  • Strong communicational skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
