The TMACL&D Director will be focused on organizational development initiatives, such as Talent Management, Acquisition, Certified, Learning and Development in alignment with business goals and priorities. In this role, you will:

  • Consult with customer groups to establish and implement performance management processes aligned with business strategy
  • Develop talent management systems, standards, and tools aligned with customer needs to obtain workforce performance, desired culture, and individual effectiveness; roll out solutions to applicable field personnel
  • Act as an extension of the Global Talent Management/Acquisition and Certified Learning & Development Center of Excellence to help shape the Global Strategy and Agenda
  • Establish and implement succession planning and talent reviews with customer groups
  • Develop and deliver leadership and organizational development programs using various methodology and technologies
  • Coach and mentor staff and/or field HR to help resolve workforce and organizational capability issues and develop performance strategies
  • Lead Certified Programs – CSCS, CSCM, LE, Introductory to Supervisory and CSCS eLearning
  • Partner with Functional Groups (i.e. OMS, Sales, etc.) for deployment of CSCS courses
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure programs (ELP, GMA, ALP, etc.) are aligned with business priorities and with the other subsequent Talent Pools
  • Manage budget(s) – Certified and L&D
  • Create a viable forecast model to guide the effective deployment of resources to insure a volume of talent sufficient for achieving targets
  • Lead Country initiatives with the capability to work in a global and regional environment, contributing to the overall CoE strategy
  • Partner with Country HR Leaders and HRBPs to set the strategic agenda for the HR Function
  • Develop Young Talent Resourcing strategy to include the following: University Targets, Targets for hire, strategy for University relationships, process for sourcing and hiring talent, KPIs regarding effectiveness
  • Provide overall TA strategy based on business goals
  • Establish and manage staffing priorities, assignments and budget
  • Manage vendor relationships to insure best value and service for spend is achieved
  • Establish credibility within the business by insuring solid business knowledge is utilized in selection of candidates for interview

Manage the integration of succession planning and TA to optimize internal talent utilization and ensure career development opportunities are provided to employees

Requirements

  • 7-10 years’ experience in Talent Management and/or Organizational Capability
  • Superior knowledge of best practices in talent management, organizational capability, and college recruiting
  • Strong communication skills
  • Superior project management skills
  • Ability to build and maintain work relationships
  • Ability to motivate self and direct reports
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Thorough understanding of logistics business, HR and leadership capability
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude in delivering solutions
  • Excellent process management and customer service skills
  • Strong computer skills: MS Office & Internet search tools
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Fluent Portuguese and English required; Spanish desired
