Main responsibilities include:
Maintaining the Quality & Environment Systems  (Q&E)
Ensure consistent and correct adherence to ISO quality and environmental standards throughout the business
Act as an interface to the external auditing body (SGS), regulatory agencies and Pfizer audits. Liaise with operational departments to ensure all essential preparatory work is completed to ensure successful audit outcomes,  
Oversee quality initiatives for the Pfizer business

Acts as the LLP Responsible Person and carry out all of the duties stipulated within that role:
Ensure compliance with the requirements of Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
Ensure initial & continuous training programs are implemented & maintained
Ensure suppliers are approved
Approve any subcontracted activities that impact on GDP
Focus on the management of authorised activities & accuracy & quality of records
Coordinate & perform any recall operation, in conjunction with Pfizer
Liaise with Pfizer on the disposition of returned, rejected, recalled or falsified products
Ensure self-inspections are performed and corrective actions put in place
Ensure any additional requirements imposed on certain products by national law are adhered to
Keep appropriate records of any delegated duties

Support the 3PL business to ensure Pfizer questions and concerns regarding LLP’s Q&E policy are answered and managed in a professional manner,
Support the 3PL business in the effective resolution of Pfizer complaints, assist in root cause analysis investigation and identification of robust corrective action.  Monitor Pfizer complaints in order to identify trends/areas for improvement.
Provide Operations with support in training staff in the requirements of the Q&E system and GDP
Assist  with scheduled Performance Management team projects as required
Compile data on monthly quality/regulatory, process and quality related issues
To manage and implement Quality Assurance/Control and Pharmaceutical regulatory programs and initiatives in support of the company’s business growth (e.g. GDP and HPRA licence)
Responsible to successfully optimize European LLP Centres – by effectively analysing operational KPI’s and continuously improving LLP operations, following structured process optimization methodologies. Sharing Best Practices across the region to ensure high standard and high quality operations
The Quality Managers ‘Lead Auditor’ duties include conducting internal and external audits on behalf of the business and the customer in relation to GDP/ISO standards.
The Lead Service Provider (LSP) audits are expected to be conducted on-site, however, an LSP assessment can be conducted by use of the LSP Audit Questionnaire - External if agreed with customer Quality representative in writing.
The DHL LLP Quality Manager will liaise with the DHL LLP Contract Manager and agree on the dates for the LSP audit, in line with the defined LSP Audit Schedule.
