Sr. Tax Analyst
The primary responsibilities of the Senior Tax Analyst include the analysis, calculation, preparation, review and complete delivery of the indirect tax cycle. The analyst also will play a key role in tax supporting to warehouse operations and new implementations.
Experience and knowledge with indirect taxes
Good verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Law, Accounting or related field
Intermediate English level
Intermediate MS Excel level
Tax computation and preparation of ICMS and ISS taxes (Municipal and State Taxes);
Generation of tax due on the tax collection document form (Main obligation);
Preparation and validation of tax electronics files (Accessory Obligation);
Maintain indirect tax compliance calendar and ensure all filing requirements are met in a timely manner;
Monthly reporting of Inventory cross-checking process between Tax Books and physical balance;
Monitoring e control of the Clearance Certificates (State and Municipal Taxes);
Support to tax inspections (State and Municipal);
Identify relevant changes in Tax Law;
Test and validation of a new version released on Tax System (Mastersaf DW) and Electronic Invoice (NF-e);
Support to operations and projects as required, specifically new business related to General warehouse, Packaging and Warehouse operations.
Develop and monitor the team in projects related to the Protheus system.
Apply training to Tax Team and operations with supervision.
Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement to efficiently and effectively meet company objectives.
Preferred qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Masters in Tax preferred
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Previous experience with Mastersaf and Protheus system
Advanced English level
Advanced MS Excel level
