We are offering one exceptional candidate the chance to join the team as Expert Global Controller (m/f/x).

The Role specialize in reporting, analysis and management of all financial matters by partnering, advising and challenging the management team and influencing the strategic direction whilst maintaining financial transparency, adherence to financial policies and drive digitalization of reporting processes.

The role proactively maintains and coordinates the reporting processes for the DHL Supply Chain (DSC) division by ensuring high data quality and consistency across reporting systems. The role analyzes actual financial data for the division in close alignment with regional reporting teams in order to produce the divisional monthly reporting to Senior Management, Corporate and to the Division Board. The role interacts with DSC regions and other stakeholders in DSC countries and at corporate level. The role consolidates the actuals, analyzes the data, and creates presentations. Another focus is to support the further development of financial tools for reporting. Furthermore the role ensures high data quality and consistency across reporting systems.

The role and impact are significantly visible to the entire DSC senior management. The job owner is a key pillar and single go-to person for senior management for all our global reporting requirements and works very independently and responsible around these and other tasks.

What are you accountable for achieving?

  • Financial Performance Analysis and Reporting – analyzing and reporting of financial activity in a timely and transparent way with recommendations where appropriate. This involves holding periodic reviews with managers / staff on divisional and regional level.
  • Financial Control – ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and group policies.

What will you need?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and German
  • Business Communication skills
  • Analytical Skills
  • Knowledge of Financial metrics and tools
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Power BI
  • The ability to grow and management business relationships
