HR Coordinator - Recruitment
To assist and support the Recruitment Manger in the recruitment function, enabling DHL to attract & retain the key talent to achieve business objectives. To source candidates through various means, that strengthens DHL’s position.
With Recruitment Manager’s guidance, plan & co-ordinate internal/external job postings to target a suitable pool of candidates through appropriate channels; DHL’s portal, websites, recruiting agencies etc.To ensure advertisement aligns to the marketing brand positions & incorporates DHL’s values & benefits to position DHL as an employer of choice.
Arrange and conduct structured interviews.
Arrange English assessments for entry level positions (e.g. Sorters, Couriers, Ramp Agents etc.).
Arrange for technical assessments when required.
Manage applications/CV’s ensuring timely feedback of status of application to prospective candidates/employees.
Arrange timely pre-employment security checks, employment contracts, reference checks and all other required documents for the successful candidates.
To ensure that employee selection & appointments are carried out in a structured & systematic way so as to meet HR policy, local legislation.
Assist with the onboarding of the new joiners.
Maintain records and files for every job opening.
Provide recruitment reports required by the Recruitment Manager.
Nature and Scope
The job-holder provides support to the recruitment function, to recruit the best fit in a timely manner.This role has a direct interface with the line managers & supervisors and is responsible for providing a comprehensive HR service encompassing interviews, assessments, selection and on boarding.
This role reports directly to the Recruitment Manager and has no direct reports.

The jobholder must proactively maintain adequate candidates in the pipeline to ensure timely supply of the best applicants. Ensure that security and reference checks are completed promptly for all selected applicants.
The jobholder is expected to make decisions on short listing candidates based on the interviews and/or assessments taking into consideration the skills & requirements of the job. The individual is also responsible for managing his/her work plan so as to ensure recruitment needs are actioned as per deadlines agreed
(f)Planning and Organisation
The job holder is responsible for managing their time & organising a work schedule so that approved recruitment needs are actioned within the time frame stipulated.
The job holder will need to manage recruitment priorities to be able to meet the recruitment demands of the various departments/entities to whom they are providing a service, thereby ensuring quality staff are placed in the right job at the right time.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as HR Admin/Coordinator with specific experience in recruitment and selection.

Candidate must be strong in English and Arabic (speaking and writing)

Excellent skills with MS office software – Excel, Word and PowerPoint in particular
